MLP: Amalthea and the blue butterflyby ~Shockowaffel

This is my second
Last unicorn + My little pony fanart
after "The red bull".

I guess everypony knows the scene of the fateful meeting between Amalthea and the blue butterfly. If you dont, go check the movie, you've missed something.

At first I tried to make her a pony like Twilight and the others, but that just didnt work. Amalthea is grace incarnate and therefore needed a body like Celestia.
It was a lot of fun, although it was really tricky to combine a detailed style (The last unicorn) with the plain vector style from MLP.

I think you got it wrong, "movie" was referring to "The last unicorn", not MLP.
