Study: The arm 3 by Shockowaffel Study: The arm 3 by Shockowaffel
Part 3 of my anatomical studies of the arm.
I've moved up towards the shoulder, as you can see.
It's really not as difficult as it seems.

There are different types of bodies throughout the world. some are smaller, some are stretched.
The proportions you use should fit to what you are trying to draw.
A tall person has propably different props then a short person etc.

In the end, it's more about having a system and some kind of measurement for drawing bodies instead of just
drawing how you feel.

Indeed. im kinda long armed(I measured myself)

one interesting thing is this:
where did you get this measurement? I like it since I myself have tries to figure out how to do proportions in a quick way.

One  thought that comes to mind is this:the heads system

7 heads is normal or avarage, 9 heads is tall. by that system, lets say we pick the 9 heads one.hands are always about  under the dong/vagina about 1 hand, so by this, we can figure out how many hands 4-5 or more that said 9 headed persons should have.

since we artist deal in imaginary fictional creatures that are really high OR short, one can use this system.
